PRESENT AT SUSTAINABILITY CONGRESS
November 10th, 2011 – Chicago, IL – Wave Reaction, Inc, was pleased to present at the FMA Progressive Packaging and Sustainabilty Congress. The lecture was presented in collaboration with Ms Kate Goodwin, Manager of Consolidation and Distribution at Deere and Company.

The presentation focused on the sustainability benefits, as well as the challenges, of developing and implementing a worldwide returnable container management process. Ms Goodwin, who has managed Deere's returnable container initiative since 2001, outlined the four-step model that constitutes the framework of the RCM process, and reviewed a case study of this process in action. Ms Goodwin concluded with a review of the lessons they have learned through implementing an RCM process.
The Maturity Matrix, developed by Wave Reaction, is a visualization of the steps required to achieve a fully optimized RCM process. Charles Daoud, Director of Sales at Wave Reaction, explained that most companies who begin a returnable container management initiative only complete the first step - visibility of their assets.
